When Cecilia Rönn visited our club, she first told us briefly about the situation in the EU Parliament and that current opinion polls indicate that the conservative group is moving forward in the upcoming EU elections.
Then she told about a trip with the finance committees she had just made to Ukraine. She showed pictures of how to quickly restore buildings bombed by the Russians so that they become habitable again.
She also told that they are now building up local energy sources with wind, solar, etc. to counteract the Russians' attacks on the large energy facilities. She was also impressed by how they got education etc started and in general the energy they put into making society function despite the war.
