Preparedness and burial in the event of war

On February 6, the club will be visited by Katarina Evenseth, funeral director at the Church of Sweden in Gothenburg. Katarina will speak about the current situation with cemeteries in Gothenburg and the need for larger cemeteries in the event of war or epidemics.

In Sweden we are unique. Nowhere else in the world is the time between death and burial longer. Moreover, every tenth deceased person goes directly from the morgue to the crematorium, without ceremony. Why do we have such a hard time with death?
